Unidentified Bodies in Light & Shadow

Solo Exhibition at Jettison Creative, San Francisco, 2025

Grounded in Iranian cultural motifs and feminist discourse, I deconstruct and reconstruct human forms and architectural structures to examine how history, power, and memory shape bodies and spaces. Fragmented figures and reconfigured environments emerge as metaphors for oppression, resilience, and transformation. By merging traditional textile techniques with contemporary abstraction, I challenge the hierarchical divide between fine art and craft, reclaiming fiber as a medium for critical dialogue.
